Grow Old Friends at Dies to Die for

Good morning all! I'm here with my Dies to Die for Inspiration post, which, means it must be Tuesday hehe.

Today I want to show you a card I made for my friend Emily. I made it a while back, but because it isn't her birthday till 30th, I wasn't able to show it till now. Yes I know it isn't the 30th yet, but she's off on her hols then so has the card early.

As she's a little quirky, I wanted to make her something a little different and this stamp fitted perfectly, while still being a very beautiful image. As usual the links to products are at the end of this post and also as I'm really pushed for time, you get to look at pictures without the usual waffle from me lol. Of course if there's any info you want to know, just leave me a comment and I'll get back to you : )

Thanks for looking I'll be back tomorrow with a Kraftin' Kimmie GDT post.

  1. What an Awesome Card! Loooovin' the Steampunk look! She will love it!

  2. Linda, your card is a dream.....really beautiful!

  3. WOW! I bet your friend was thrilled to receive such a special card. I love the image, amazing colouring you have just reminded me that I have those gorgeous papers - somewhere! All your detailing looks amazing too.

  4. Absolutely gorgeous, Steampunk themed card Linda. I'm sure she was thrilled with it. I like that you have used a more feminine colour palette with this rather than the usual metal and rust and industrial look of Steampunk. I thinks it's great!

  5. This is fabulous Linda and a stunning image which is beautifully coloured. The design and embellishments are lovely.
Hope you are having a lovely week.

  6. What an interesting combination of papers, embellies and stamp! Simply great, Linda... :)

  7. Wow this is really awesome! Love the colour combo and your beautiful colouring!! Fab layout and design too!
