Rose for Kraftin' Kimmie's Wonderful Wednesday

Morning peeps! We're halfway through the week and I'm here with my GDT post for Kraftin' Kimmie stamps.

Welcome to another Wonderful Wednesday challenge And as always....it's ANYTHING GOES!!

Your submission must use at least one Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp but can be any theme, any style, any design and it can be a card, a scrapbook page, an altered item....you name it!! It must be a NEW creation and you can enter on this post until Tuesday, March 25th!! What do you think.....wanna WIN??

**Please note that you are more than welcome to combine this Wonderful Wednesday Share to Win challenge with other challenges, BUT not our regular weekly challenges. This must be a new and different creation than anything you create for our Saturday challenges.

So I thought that for a change I'd colour one of Annie's ladies up in distress inks, I normally choose Copics for her sassy girls, but this image is a little more delicate and I thought it would suit some DI colouring, she's called Rose, isn't she pretty?

These wonderful papers are Inkido, I just love them and the good news is that Tracy has them on sale!

Colours used were Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Antique Linen, Brushed Courdroy, Walnut Stain,  Spun Sugar,  Bundled Sage, Peacock Feathers. I dotted her around with some liquid pearls.

Do pop over and check out the work by the Krafty Girls, they've made some amazing creations and why not join in the fun?!

That's all from me today, I'll see you soon and whatever you do with the rest of today, have fun! : ) x x

Grow Old Friends at Dies to Die for

Good morning all! I'm here with my Dies to Die for Inspiration post, which, means it must be Tuesday hehe.

Today I want to show you a card I made for my friend Emily. I made it a while back, but because it isn't her birthday till 30th, I wasn't able to show it till now. Yes I know it isn't the 30th yet, but she's off on her hols then so has the card early.

As she's a little quirky, I wanted to make her something a little different and this stamp fitted perfectly, while still being a very beautiful image. As usual the links to products are at the end of this post and also as I'm really pushed for time, you get to look at pictures without the usual waffle from me lol. Of course if there's any info you want to know, just leave me a comment and I'll get back to you : )

Thanks for looking I'll be back tomorrow with a Kraftin' Kimmie GDT post.

Gemini Tilda, No Square Card for Totally Tilda

If you are here for the Kraftin' Kimmie March release blog hop, please scroll down.

Well I'm here for my second post of today, I do hope you're all not sick of me this week, 6 cards over 7 days....phew, that really is a record for me, so if I havn't visited your blog or left a comment on Facebook on something you've shared, you'll have to forgive me, between crafting and working I don't know if I'm coming or going this week! I promise I'll catch up over the next few days which will be a little quieter for me. Anyhoo, enough of my blathering and on with the reason I'm here again.

Today is the start of a new challenge at Totally Tilda and this time we want to see you 'no square' cards, so any card (or other project) with a stamped Tilda on it, as long as it's not square....as Aleksandr would say....Simples!

I decided to make an oval card this time, cut with a large Spellbinders nestie, as it was an ideal shape for the new stamp I wanted to use.

I used the Gemini Tilda stamp from the new Zodiac collection with one of my favourite Maja paper collections and paper pieced the little dresses.  I decided not to make them Twins but friends, so coloured them up to look a bit different from each other. I popped a little cheesecloth behind the image.

I added some lovely Wild Orchid Craft flowers and pearl trim from Live and Love Crafts. The lace is from the Ribbon Girl and also a piece recycled from a belt on a dress that never got used.

The bow is made from seam binding from the Ribbon Girl and I stamped a Whimsy small postage sentiment onto Kraft card and cut it out with a matching die.

The inside is decorated simply to complement the front.

Well that's it from me I hope you like it, do join in with us, we have a lovely prize of

Do pop over to the blog and check out the rest of the team's creations, there's some gorgeous inspiration there.

Well that's it from me today, I'm going to put my feet up and go for a little toddle around blogland before cooking a roast Sunday dinner! Enjoy the rest of your weekend *hugs* x x
