Happy Sunday everyone, I do hope you're all having a great weekend.
It's time for the Ribbon Girl July 'Use any image' challenge - you can do any type of project, cards, tags, bags, 3-d projects - anything you like, BUT YOU MUST use an image on your project. This challenge will run until 9pm on Saturday 30th July 2016
Another Tiddly Inks card from me today, yup I definitely feel a new addiction coming on lol.
This time I coloured up Forget me Not Wryn, and I admit that as soon as I read her name I knew which paper I wanted to use with her. Of course it had to be Lemoncraft's Forget me Not papers.
I'm really rather pleased with the way this turned out, though I'm not 100% satisfied with my colouring. My eyesight struggled a bit with those itty bitty flowers I must say.
Still overall I'm pleased with the result, and I hope you like it too.
I coloured Wryn with my Distress Ink markers
The edges of the paper are inked and distresed and the top layer hand stitched. I fussy cut Wryn out and popped her up with some foam tape, on top of an oval doily frame and tucked a couple of chipboard doily corners underneath, but not before sprinkling them with some frantage and heating.

I added some die cut leaves and some gorgeous flowers
I do hope you can join in with our challenge.

That image certainly looks a little tricky to colour...all those tiny flowers! But you did a fabulous job I think :-)
ReplyDeleteIt seems lost of the DT had a soft spot for these scrummy papers but it's great that our cards still all look different; I love all the distressing on your design and the gorgeous shabby chic style :-)
Big hugs, Kat xx
