Ta Da!

Ok so , finally managed to take some halfway decent photos with the other half's camera phone.  So this is my first card posting, quite nervous as to how it all turns out and what people will think lol.  There are such amazing creations out there on people's blogs I feel my modest efforts pale in comparison.

The photos are not brilliant as the light was going a bit by the time we took them and I don't have a fancy light box or even a tripod but I think they at least give you an idea.

Anyway, first photos

For the image I used the Love Me Do digital stamp by Sylvia Zet from Wee Stamps , coloured with a mix of Copics and Promarkers  (I much much prefer Copics but I'm having to add to my collection gradually because of the expense), papers were New Bloom from First Edition, flowers and trims were from Wild Orchid Crafts and The Ribbon Girl

The card was made for my daughter to give to a friend who is getting married in August, but i'll probably give her a choice of a couple of different cards, after all it doesn't hurt to have a spare card for a wedding!

I've entered this for The Ribbon Girl Blog: July Card Challenge  and Challenge # 61 At Whimsy Stamps Challenge Theme Ribbon and Lace

  2. Aww Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I still feel like a novice, so many things are new to me, but I'm learning so much from other people. I'm blown away by the quality of the work I see on everyone's blog, particularly the design teams and sometimes feel like I could never produce work like that, but it gives me something to aspire to! xx
