Tilda Rose Scent - Anything Goes for our 100th Challenge at Totally Tilda!

Good Morning folks, I hope you're having a wonderful weekend!  I went for a mammogram yesterday which is not my ideal way to spend a Saturday lol, but while it wasn't pleasant, it was blessedly brief. At least it was a beautiful sunny day to be out and about in : )

Anyhoo....the reason I am here today is to share my DT make for the Tilda-ettes over at Totally Tilda. But before I do I have to say a big welcome back to the TT team to Brigitte and Suzi!  So great to have you on the team : ) x x

So this week it's our 100th challenge, yes 100, whoohoo! The theme is a firm favourite with everyone, it's anything goes and instead of running for 2 weeks it's running for a whole month, so lots of time to get your entries in.

But enough of the waffle and onto the card for today:

I used Tilda Rose Scent, I coloured her up in Inktense Pencils a few weeks back when I was visiting my parents and finally I had the opportunity to put her on a card.

I'm afraid I don't have the colours for you today as I didn't take my notebook with me.

The papers used are from the super gorgeous 'Elegant' pad by Authentique, this is a favourite pad of mine, LOVE the colours and designs.
I inked all my edges with Black Soot DI and distressed the straight edges with a Tim Holtz tool.
As usual I've stitched all my layers with Top Stitch thread, using black, white and turquoise.
I've used a Go Create die to make the main card shape and Spellbinders Nesties - Floral Ovals for the frame.
I also used the beautiful Corner Bow die by Memory Box. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and I added a little perfume bottle charm from my stash.

The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the bling is from The Handcrafted Card Company

To finish off I used another sheet of the same pack and stamped Tilda's Dressing Table on the space for writing a message. Finally I used a little white acrylic paint for a slightly shabby chic look.

Now let's see what creations you come up with, it's anything goes as long as it has a Tilda stamp on it!

To give us girls a bit of a holiday, we won't be commenting on your entries this time, but there are 2 prizes on offer
1 from from Bunnyzoescrafts

and 1 from
The Ribbon Girl

and the DT girls are giving additional Candy prizes drawn randomly from comments.
Now check out the rest of the team's gorgeous makes!

That's all from me today, but I'll be back tomorrow with 2 creations ...yes you heard it 2!...to share.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday : ) x x

  5. A very pretty and elegant card Linda. Tilda is coloured perfectly to match the papers and those pencils give great definition in the shading, more so than alcohol markers. You have certainly mastered them. Love the details too.
