Flamenco Marci - Use 3 Embellishments at La-La Land

Happy Monday all! It's time for some more inspiration from Team Monday over at La-La Land Crafts, and this week our theme is use 3 types of embellishment....not a difficult one for yours truly eh? ;)

I've used the following La-La Land Craft items on my card:

This is what I made

I coloured Marci in a mix of Distress Ink and Sprectrum Aquatint markers & paper pieced her dress

Skin: Tattered Rose, Vintage Photo, Aged Mahogany
Hair: Antique Linen, Gathered Twigs
Outfit: (Ruffles and Shoes) Fired Brick, Blossom AQT, Shabby Shutters.

My embellishments are Flowers, Pearls and Ribbon Trim. I inked all my layers with Walnut Stan DI and stitched my base layers with top stitch thread.

I used some beautiful papers from Lili of the Valley.

I decorated the inside very simply adding a space for a handwritten message.

The stamp and dies are all available at Dies to Die for if you are in the UK or Europe.

That's all from me for today but do pop in on the blog to see the amazing creations from the other girls and we'd love to see your creations on our Facebook page.

See you soon! :) xx

Rubber Stamp Candy Winner!

Good morning! It's stupid o'clock here in the UK and I'm about to dash to work, but I realised that I completely forgot to draw my Candy winner on Saturday. So I've done that now quickly.

In the end there were 149 entries! Wow, thank you so much for entering, what a great response. I added a few numbers to this for people who weren't able to get entering twice to work when they had followed/shared both on their blog and FB.

In the end there can be only 1 winner and I drew the number using Mr Random. This is what he gave me.

Number 29.

Big congratulations to Becky, of Cards by Becky.

Becky please send me your snail mail to

linda.levoir@gmail.com

and I'll get those in the post to you this week.

Thank you to everyone for entering, I do hope you'll stick around. For those that didn't win, well I have some other giveaways planned for the near future, so watch this space.

Right, I'm off to catch the bus, but I'll be back later with my scheduled post for La-La Land Crafts.

Bye for now! :) xx

Bingo Grid at Totally Tilda and Friends

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you're enjoying your weekend. Today it's time for a new post over at Totally Tilda and Friends and it's a very sad post from me because it's time for me to say goodbye to my teamies. Unfortunately with everything going on in my life currently and my health not having been so good in recent weeks, I've had to make the tough decision to make a little room.

I would like to take the time to say a HUGE thank you to Susie, Mummy and all my fabulous teamies for taking the chance a year and a half ago on a bit of a noob and making me feel so welcome. It's been the best time and soooooo much fun and I'm really sad to be leaving, but I will be keeping in touch with all my gorgeous girls through blogland /Facebook and who know's maybe you'll see me back here in the future if  time permits.

Anyway, enough with the sad stuff before I cry and on with the theme.  For this challenge the theme is
Bingo

Mummy (Christine)  has done a super grid which I've shown at the end of my post, and you can do any line, vertical, horizontal or diagonal. Or you can do all of them for a 'Full House'

I've used Virgo Tilda, and I've coloured her with Copics using the faint line technique. I've had her partially coloured up for a while now so I thought I'd finish her off to use on this card.

I can't remember what colours I used for her hair, but it looks like it was a selction of E40s the skin was E13, E11, E00, E000 and R20. The outfit was RV91, RV93, RV95 and RV99

I hope you like my make and that you're inspired to make something and join us!

You could win a fabulous prize

I took the diagonal line from top left to bottom right.
There are lots of other gorgeous inspirational makes from my lovely teamies  on the blog, so make sure you check those out!

That's all from me today, but I'll be back on Monday with the La-La Land Crafts Inspiration Team.

Have a lovely Sunday, bye for now! :) xx
