Whimsy Stamps - Stuck on you Cactus

Hello!

I'm back with some more inspiration from Whimsy Stamps' February release.

This time I've made a fun card using the Stuck on you Cactus rubber stamp, which I coloured with my Zig markers and then fussy cut and mounted with foam tape on a background panel made with the new Swish stencil and several graduating colours of Distress Oxide inks.
I mounted my panel popped up on some craft foam over a panel of black cardstock on a lime green card base.
I stamped a simple sentiment from the Polka Dot Fun clear stamp set, directly beneath my image and finished the card with a few enamel dots.

I've linked the products used at the end of my post, just click on the picture to go directly to the item in store.

MFT You Are the Sweetest

So I'm trying to share more of my makes here on my blog. I share on Instagram a lot these days and don't always get the time to share here too, so I'm trying to be better. Hopefully over the next month I will get a chance to share some of the cards I've already shared to IG but didn't get to share here.

This is a card using several techniques. Stamping and embossing, watercolouring with Zig markers and also stacked camouflage die-cutting. I've listed the products I used at the end of my post. No links but you can type them into Google and see who stocks what.

Whimsy Stamps DT - Fairy and Puppy

Hello!

I have a simple layered card to share with you today using the cute and pretty Fairy and Puppy from Whimsy Stamps.

I coloured this one all in Distress Ink markers as a bit of a change from Zigs and used some layers of patterned papers from my stash to match the colours to.
This aren't at all my 'usual' colour choices but I love them and I actually think they suit the stamp very well.

The sentiment is from the the clear stamp set Polka Dot Fun which has a great selection of simple sentiments that don't take up heaps of room and are great on little 'badges'.

I've listed the products available in the Whimsy Store at the end of my post, along with links to take you directly to the items, just click on the pictures.

Whimsy Stamps February Release Day 5

Hello!

I'm showcasing one of the new rubber stamps from the February Whimsy Stamps release today.

This is Teddy with Heart Balloon designed by Lee Holland and I've also used the new Star Galaxy stencil and some older Whimsy products. I've linked them all for you at the end of my post, just click on the picture to take you to the item in the store.

I stamped the bear with Vesafine Ink in Onyx Black and coloured him with my Zig markers and water, using Light Blue, Cobalt Blue, Pale Rose and Deep Red.
The background was made with distress oxides over the stencil, masking out the bear.

I stamped the love sentiment from the Cute Cupid set in Versafine ink, and cut out several letters in white cardstock using the Uppercase Alphabet dies stacking them and finishing with ones cut from patterned paper and adhering that above the love.

After cutting my panels and adhering them to my card base I finished off with a few clear sequins.

Whimsy Stamps Feb Release - Day 3

Hello!

It's Day 3 of the February release from Whimsy Stamps.

We have a whole heap of lovely goodies for you to choose from this month, from rubber stamp, clear stamp sets and stencils.

Today I'm showcasing the Gnome Sweet Gnome clear stamp set.

I just fell in love with these cute little gnomes, and their homes.

This set is so perfect for many different cards and comes with a variety of sentiments.

I made a fairly simple card, to celebrate a new home, using one of the sentiments from the set and making a simple background using one of the stencils from last month's release.

I watercoloured my images with Zig markers and fussy cut them out, popping them up with some foam tape. I used the largest stitched nested rectangle die to make the base.

I added a strip of patterned paper from my stash and finished off with some enamel dots.

I've shown the products used below, complete with links to the products in the store.
