Balloon Basket - Lovely Lili DT at The Ribbon Girls

Good morning and happy Sunday to all.  I've been a bit absent again recently, but work has been manic and I've been trying to fit in getting ready for Christmas also, so crafting has taken a bit of a back seat the last couple of weeks. Plus I've been working on some hush hush stuff that you won't see till January. But as work quietens down for Christmas next week I should be getting home on time and have a little bit more space to craft. Also I'd like to get some candy on my blog next week to thank you all for sticking with me through my recent difficult time, so keep an eye out for that, there some lovely bits that will be up for grabs.

Anyway, enough waffle from me and on to the reason I'm here.Today it's the last Lovely Lili challenge of 2014 at The Ribbon Girl, before the Christmas break, we get a bit of a holiday, so our next challenge will be in February. It's a very easy one too, Anything Goes ...but please remember you must use products from Lili of the Valley on your project to qualify.

When my daughter visited me  a couple of weeks ago, se asked me if I could make a baby card as she was going to a friend's baby shower and I've had this stamp in my collection unused since February, so it was a great opportunity to take it out and ink it up.

I coloured it with Distress Ink Markers.

Skin : Tattered Rose, Tea Dye
Hair: Antique Linen
Basket, Balloon, Ribbon and Bedding: Antique Linen, Brushed Corduroy, Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet, Peacock Feathers.

I inked all my layers with Walnut Stain DI and stitched them with top stitch thread.

The sentiment is also from Lili of the Valley and I've used lots of lovely goodies from The Ribbon Girl, including this gorgeous glittery ribbon!

I do apologise that some of the photos aren't perfect colour wise, but I had to snap the photos quickly before she took the card away with her lol!

I do hope you like it, do pop across to the blog and take a look at the rest of the team's stunning makes, and we would love to see what you make!

You could win a fabulous prize of

I'll be back in the week with some yummy crafty candy for you to win, until then, enjoy your Sunday! :) xx

  2. Adorable card Linda as usual. I know what you mean about being too stressed to craft, it just saps your creativity. Hope you can relax and recoup your energies over the Christmas period.

  3. Hi just read your comment about word verification. It is turned off on my blog but it still appears at the bottom of the comments pop up window although you can still leave a comment without putting the number in. It's funny that some peoples blogs that had it the other day have now disappeared but mine is still there. I will have to change to embedded comments and see how that goes. Thanks for telling me.
