Piper - LDRS GDT for new Saturated Canary Release

Good evening, this is a scheduled post, so I do hope Mr Blogger plays nice as I'm currently on my holibobs down in Bath.

I'm sooooooo excited to be sharing this post with you today, because recently I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to join in with the LDRS  DT in showcasing the new Saturated Canary range in rubber!  I can tell you I was watching the post every day till the stamps arrived and they were well worth waiting for!

Today I've coloured up Piper with Distress Inks (colours listed at the end of my post).  Look at that beautiful hair! It was sooooo much fun fun to colour, I can tell you.  I chose a lovely Titian for it, (yes Elaine, I really did lol).
For papers I went with some of my favourites of the moment, Pions 'My Precious Daughter' collection and also paper pieced a small section of her clothing to match.

The beautiful lace (which as usual I have almost covered), the pleated satin trim around the image and the lovely shabby seam binding are from Live and Love Crafts.

Flowers are a mix from several different places, including The Ribbon Girl and Wild Orchid Crafts.

The beautiful pearl and diamante embellishment is from The Handcrafted Card company.

The inside is decorated with a piece of coordinating paper from the collection.

Distress Inks Used
Skin: Tattered Rose, Tea Dye, Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar (blush), Victorian Velvet (lips)

Tracy has all the new Saturated Canary cuties in at Dies to Die for  now..

Well that's all from me today, I do hope you liked my creation with Piper, don't forget to check the LDRS blog and Facebook page regularly for all the DT's inspiration posts and there is also a Facebook goup where you can come and share your own creations using LDRS images with everyone.

I'll see you once I'm back from my hols, take care! : ) xx

  1. This is stunning Linda. The hair looks so glossy its hard to believe it was coloured with distress marker. I will have to try that colour combo.
What a gorgeous image, love the paper pieced parts of the dress and the colours not to mention the beautifully embellished design.
    Have a lovely weekend.
