Tiddly Inks - Wryn Hopping By

Good evening crafty folks, today has felt very long at work as I've been super busy, but I have Thursday and Friday off this week to finish up some holiday days so just one more day at work tomorrow wheeee!!

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to all the lovelies who have left me such wonderful comments lately and a big welcome to my newest followers, I hope you find something to enjoy and that I don't bore you to tears with all my waffling lol!

I made a card yesterday (well I started Sunday and finished it yesterday lol, but by the time I'd finished there wasn't enough light to take a good picture.  I think I'm going to have to invest in a decent lamp soon or be waiting till the weekend to take all my pics lol, and even then I guess as winter sets in the light won't be too great for a lot of the day *sigh*.  I don't mind winter but I do hate the loss of light and the shortenng of my days.

Oh well enough preemptive moaning from yours truly and on to the card lol.

I used some Maja Spring Basics paper with pink and grey cardstock, all papers have been stitched by hand.  I used a mix of 12 x 12 and 6x6 to vary things a bit.  Dies used are from La La Land,  Scalloped Border and one of the Spellbinders Accents sets I honestly can't remember which one it is.  I distressed the edges of papers, used DI in Black Soot, a little white acrylic paint and some frantage in Shabby Pink on the die cuts.

The image is Wryn Hopping By from Tiddly Inks, she looks like she's having so much fun! I've coloured her with my Copics.

Skin: E11, 21, 00, 000, R20
Hair: E50, 51, 53, 55
Clothes and Pogo Stick: B91, 93, 95, 99, R81, 83, 85, W0, 2, 3, 5

The inside was decorated to complement the outside with matching papers.  I used a Kaisercraft Postage clear stamp around the matting.

The pearls are coloured to match with copics.  The bead traim, lace and the large rose are from The Ribbon Girl, all other flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The ribbon was from my stash and I've used up the last of it here.

I hope you like it, I followed a sketch from Crafting Lifes Pieces and that and the image were my only real inspiration for this, I just kind of went with the flow on this one.

I'm entering this card for the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly Anything Goes

Creative Corner Child's Play

Addicted to Stamps Anything Goes

That's it from me for this evening, I'm off to do the blog round with visits and comments, have fun! :) xx
