I actually made this card very ahead because it was made for my sweet and lovely blogging friend Maya Go, who makes such pretty cards, (you can find her blog here) as part of the Kit & Clowder card swap. She has received it now so totally safe to share here.
I used the diagonal line of sentiment/stitching/butterfly, the top horizontal line of flowers/lace/butterfly, the vertical middle line of lace/stitching/metal (charm) and finally the 3rd vertical line of green, ivory and brown....so quite a few lol!
I used the beautiful Alva Feeling stamp from Bildmalarna (it's so sad that these stamps aren't being made anymore), and coloured her to match the lovely Day in May collection from Pion Design, I've linked a lot of the products used at the end of my post.
She's coloured in distress inks -
Skin: Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar
Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain
Clothing/wings: Gathered Twigs, Shabby Shutters
I slathered her wings (well wing I suppose as you can only see one) in lots of Glamour Dust. If you don't own any I highly recommend it, I bought mine 2 years ago and I still have half a bottle left, it lasts aaaaages and it's sooooooooo sparkly, much, much more than the photo shows.
A few close ups of the elements.
Products used:
Papers - Pion Design - A Day in May
Stitched Circle Die
15 mm Brown/Cream Rustic Gingham Ribbon
Cheesecloth
50 mm Ophelia Ivory Lace
Double Row Ivory Pearl Trim
Toadstool Charm
8 mm Flat Back Pearls
6 mm Flat Back Pearls
Hip Rose Buds White
That's all from my today, I'll be with you again real soon :) xx

This is mine, all mine! <3 Thank you so much for this beauty Linda! <3 I absolutely LOOOOOVE this card and it's proudly displayed on the shelf in my craft corner. It's stunning!!! Oh yes, the wing is very sparkly in person - sooooo beautiful! I thought you used a glitter glue (I was meaning to ask you about it actually, but I kept forgeting - doh), but now I see you used glamour dust. I haven't heard of this before (or if I have, I forgot), but will check if it's available here the next time I'm in the craft store as I really like how sparkly it is.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time at your holiday. I hope you'll get lots of sun!
Hugs! xx
I don't think I've seen this image before and it is so sweet and adorable, your colouring is superb and I'm sure that Maya will find a special place to display this card.
