Snowflake Garland Marci, La-La Lands Crafts GDT

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend.  Mine was pretty relaxing, which was sorely needed as work on Friday was complete bedlam!

Anyhoo, I'm here with my inspirational make for La-La Land Crafts, and this week our theme is Stripes.  I must admit I'm not that big on them, even though a fair few of my papers have them, I often end up mostly covering them with stuff, so I had to be careful not to do that here.

I used the following La-La Lands products:

Yes, I have finally gotten around to making my first Christmas card of the year lol.

I paired Snowflake Garland Marci with these gorgeous Maja papers, these are from the Vintage Frost Basics collection. I've put links to some of the items in the UK at the end of my post. As usual I have distressed and inked all my edges with Walnut Stain DI and stitched my layers with top stitch thread.

I coloured Marci with my Copics this time and tried a bit of a different skin combo.
Colours Used:
Skin: E04, E11, E01, E000, E000
Hair: E50, E30, E31, E33, E35
Clothing: B91, B93, B95, B97, E53, E55. E57

The card is shaped with a Martha Stewart PATP set and the layer shape is cut with one of the new LittleB dies.

I added some seam binding and a snowflake button and button twine from The Ribbon Girl, and slipped a snowflake charm under the flowers.  I also used some Shabby White and Chunky White Frantage.

Finally I decorated the inside to complement the front.

Well that's all from me today, don't forget to visit the blog and see the rest of Team Monday's makes, there's so much variety this week.  I'll see you here tomorrow for my regular Dies to Die for inspiration post.

TTFN! : ) x x

  8. Hello Linda,
I haven't been here for a while either, as my work seems to consume all my free time... fortunately end of the school year is just around the corner. Anyway your cards are still breathtaking and this one is amazing! And you have used one of my fav color combos!
Have a great weekend crafting and having fun.
    Hugs,
