Lili of the Valley - Just Arrived

Hello everyone!

I thought I would give the wedding cards a bit of a break today and pop in to share a little baby card I made using one of the cute Lili of the Valley baby stamps called Just Arrived and some Carta Bella papers from my stash....yup I'm  trying to wade my way through the masses of papers I seem to have accumulated over just 3 years!  It's crazy isn't it how much we gather and ferret away and forget we have or keep just because ...well...we can't bear to cut into it lol.

I've coloured this super cute stamp with my distress ink makers to match the colours in the papers.

As it's a boy card, I've kept the embellishments fairly simple, just adding some narrow lace beneath the leayers, and a brightly coloured bow and coordinating buttons to match the papers .

I didn't ink around or distress the edges this time as I wanted to keep everything very clean looking.

(This is in the sale so grab it while you still can!)

Unfortunately the blue buttons are no longer stocked.

I hope you like it and I'll see you again next time!

LoTV - Dainty Dancing

Morning everyone! It's not often lately that I make something purely for the pleasure of it rather than being for a Design Team, but I have had this stamp in my stash for over 6 months and I really wanted to colour her up. So I dug out these pretty peachy pink papers from my stash and voila!

A fairly simple card design, but I thought it turned out really sweet.

She reminds me so much of my daughter when she first started dancing lessons (she was 4 when she first went to classes).

I used these little  star die cuts made with a La-La Land club kit to match up with the stars on the image. I coloured those stars with my Gold Stardust pen, which looks lovely but doesn't show up too well on the camera.

I finished the inside simply with one of the squares from the 12 x 12 sheet and added some beautiful embellishments from the Ribbon Girl and my stash.

Hope you like my make for today, I'll be here again soon :) xx

Rosie with Cake for ACR's 1st Birthday

*If you're here for my Candy follow this link*

Wheeee! It's Friday! Thank goodness for that I say, having 3 days off is lovely till you return to work and your in box looks like you've been off for a month! It's been a busy 4 days for me.  Luckily, I'd already made this card a few weeks ago when I was having my first play with Inktense pencils and a LotV stamp after my visit there for their birthday bash, and how very appropriate it is because it is A Creative Romance's first birthday, yay!

To celebrate some of the Chic Crafters and Elegant Artisans are joining together to put on a Blog Hop for you.  If you've never joined in on a blog hop before, all you have to do is jump from blog to blog, and if you get lost, just pop back to the main blog here, to pick it up again.

The theme this time is Anything Goes, with the option of Happy Birthday if you want. I can't wait to see what you all make.

Now since it's a special occasion the challenge will run for a whole month rather than our normal 2 weeks, AND we have 3 great prizes to give away. As always the prizes will be drawn at random from the challenge entries, but make sure you stop at each blog in the hop and leave a comment, as we also have some extra prizes hidden along the way, and who knows where they might be?!

I haven't been with the girls since the start of the challenge blog, but I've had the best time being here and I still can't really believe they chose little old me to be on one of their teams.

So anyhoo...on with my card. I made a birthday card and this actually went to a friend to give to her mum for her birthday. I've popped links to my items at the end of my post.

The image is Rosie with cake from LotV. The shape is cut with a Go Kreate die, I used a different shape for the second layer, and the frame is a Spellbinders oval.

I coloured her with my Inktense pencils and as this was my first try I wasn't noting colours, but I do know that I used Teal Green and Red Violet for the clothing. The gorgeous flowers are a mix from TRG, WOC, Prima and a gift from a friend. The sentiment is also from LotV as is the lush paper.

The ribbon is the last piece from my stash and the lovely bling is from the Handcrafted Card Company.

Well I do hope you enjoy hopping with us and I'll see you back here on Sunday for my Totally Tilda DT make.

Happy hopping! : ) X X

Seeing Double at A Creative Romance

Wheeee!!!! It's Friiiiiiiiiday!!  I' so glad to be at the end of my working week and really looking forward to the weekend, work has been hellish and I'm completely knackered lol!

Today sees a new challenge at A Creative Romance, this time we're seeing double....no I have't been on the booze lol, well not yet anyway, we just want to see your designs with 2 stamped images or a stamp with 2 images.
I used this lovely stamp 'Coffee Break', from Lily of the Valley that was part of my treat from my daughter when we took a trip there for my birthday. This is my first time using one of their stamps, but it certainly won't be my last.

I made a Mother's Day card with it....and I have to apologise to my Mum...I'm a complete klutz and mixed up my dates.  I thought that it was Mother's Day on the 16th and so I'd be ok sharing this here as I tend to send my cards early so they arrive on time, and I only recently realised that is wasn't and of course by then it was too late to make another card for this challenge. So big apologies to my Mum for seeing it here first.

The beautiful papers are Pion Design.

Love these little tea time inspired charms.

Do pop over to the blog and check out the rest of the team's creations, you won't be disappointed.  We have 2 new DT members joining us this week and they're very talented ladies.

That's all from me today, I was too tired to add links to products when I blogged this, so I'll come back at the weekend and do that and I'll be back later today with my 2nd sneak peek for Kraftin' Kimmie.

Happy Friday! : ) x x
