Lisbeth - Winter Warmth

Hi everyone, I'm sharing a little make today using Lisbeth - Winter Warmth, from the new LDRS Creative release.

I thought I'd do a little b & w colouring, but for a bit of interest I added just a touch of blue to her cheeks, hairband, scarf and boots, to pick up the colour of the papers I used for my card. You can find links for the products below.

I used these lovely digital papers from Michelle Roo, I thought they were so perfect for this image!
I fussy cut my image and sat her on this double layered snowflake doily cut with a Whimsy die.

I added some lovely wintery embellishments.

I thought this sparkly bow went really well with the icy theme.

That's all from me today, but I'll be back soon! :) xx

Wineoclock

Good Morning and Happy Sunday!  I've been spending a lovely few days with my daughter who is visiting with me for her birthday, so I've not really been very active on blogger, but I do have a few days still off work once she returns, so I'll be trying to catch up on my blog visiting then.#

Today it's a new challenge over at the Ribbon Girls challenge blog and it's the regular
Anything Goes with an Image.
So you can make anything you choose as long as it has at least one image on it.

I made this card for my daughter's birthday, she's just had her hair cut a bit shorter and she does love a glass of wine lol, so I thought it would be perfect for her.

The image is called Wineoclock she's a Saturated Canary digital stamp drawn by the super talented Krista Smith,  and you can purchase her here, she's part of a bundle.

I coloured her with my distress ink markers and matched her to some digital papers from Michele R Designs' new collection 'Delicate Florals' though I haven't used any of the floral papers. These patterned papers in the collection are really striking, LOVE the colours. The beautiful butterfly is from Kay's Kreative Korner. I used CC Designs Make a Card #4 and CC Designs Big Pierced and Stitched Rectangles. I inked all my edges with Pumice Stone distress ink.

I used the following Ribbon Girl embellishments on my card

Why not have a go at this super easy challenge, you could win a lovely prize and check out the rest of my team mates' makes, they are rather spectacular!
That's all from me today, but I'll be back with you really soon  :)  xx

Sweetheart

Happy Sunday everyone!  I hope you're all having a fabulous weekend. Mine has been super busy, I have quite a few commissions to finish and my mojo has decided to go walkabout, so it's taking me twice as log to finish stuff.

We have a new challenge over at the Ribbon Girl blog, and it's super easy, 'Anything Goes with an Image'. So you can let your creativity flow as long as your project has an image on it.

For my image I used the incredibly pretty Sweetheart, drawn by Krista Smith and available here from Saturated Canary. She comes in a set of 9 digis at less than you would pay (here anyway) for a single rubber stamp. Bargain! Especially as every digi in that pack is just wonderful. So please people, buy your digis from the source, don't download suspect 'free' digis from Pinterest.

I decided to use these beautiful papers from Michele Roo Designs with her and coloured her with my distress ink markers to match.  I am sooooo in love with this paper collection, I even used it to completely decorate the inside of my card as you can see below. The collection is called Designer Grunge isn't it just fabulous? Love every sheet in this set.

I used the following Ribbon Girl goodies on my project.

Well that's all from me today. don't forget to check out the rest of my teams gorgeous makes, as usual we have 2 fantastic prizes, a voucher for

and for

I should be back later today with the first of my Candy giveaways for my Blogversary...yup that's right, I decided that rather than give away one huge stash, I would make several smaller giveaways and share the love a bit more.

I'll see you later, until then Happy Crafting! :) xx

Monochrome at Deep Ocean Challenge

Good evening everyone (unless of course it's morning or afternoon when you read this lol).
Today it's time for a new theme over at Deep Ocean Challenge, and this time it's

Monochrome

So just use shades of the same colour.

I used shades of ivory on my card, from almost white through to a yellowish cream, though I have to admit that with the flowers there is of course a small amount of green on my card too, but it's still basically a monochrome card.

Now I don't know about you, but I have been inundated with requests for wedding and anniversary cards just recently, I guess it's wedding season right?
So I snapped up the opportunity to make a wedding card, this one is for a work friend's daughter who is going to a wedding in July and wanted a special card made. I hope she likes it!

Now you may have noticed recently that I have a shiny new DT badge on my blog, because I was approached by the super sweet Michele Roo to join her very talented design team for Michele R Designs. I was so happy to say yes because her papers are just stunning and totally my style :)

What I also love about Micheles paper collections (apart from the fact that being digital you can print just what you need, a real boon when you are short on space like I am!), is that most of them come with extra element sheets. I love these!

The collection that I used on my card today is
Shabby Spring Flowers
and I used the 12 x 12 papers because of the shape of the card I made.
I also used a postcard and tickets from the
Shabby Spring Flowers Elements  Pack 2

I edged everything with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.
I've also used the following goodies from The Ribbon Girl
Hop Rose Bud Cream

I hope you like my card for today, do come and join us over at Deep Ocean Challenge, there's a chance at a lovely prize.

Enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! :) xx
